ACCESSORY PLACEMENT IS THE ICING ON THE CAKE

After all your hard work of space planning, paint selection, furniture selection, window treatments, now we get to the fun part. Accessory placement will finish the room and give it your distinct personality. Placement of these articles, old and new, is very important. To the novice this may be a little frustrating, but with a few simple steps we can get your room looking fabulous. Hiring a designer at this point may be a good idea. They can pull a room together well.

The above photo is an examples of some of the possibilities. There is no one spot for a particular item. Try a variety of combinations. Don't over stuff the shelves. Try grouping items in 3's or 5's. For large collections just put a few items together and put the rest in a closet somewhere and rotate them out periodically.

GO FOR THE GREENS! Greens are an inexpensive and fresh way to get a great look. Use them behind items, in boxes with the lids open, in planters or jars. Let your creativity go crazy. Live or silk they both work well.
