The high price of going it alone

These are some of the biggest mistakes that people make

1. Buying furniture that is too big/ or too small for a room

2. They buy for quantity not quality

3. It is not a bargain if it doesn’t fit or work with an existing piece of furniture

4. Not having a master plan. You need a broad framework and then fill it in

5. Design-cohesion- does not flow

6. Replace professional advice with advice from a friend.

7. A lack of consistent focused direction.

8. Realizing that design shows on tv are really using a designer.

9. Not knowing the differences between the “trends” and the “ classics”

10. Not designing for your lifestyle.
